We usually don't reserve for the weekend because it is so full, but we were able to reserve a site for one night and move to another site for the second night. Crosslake is well taken care of with clean sites and bathrooms. we didn't bring a boat, but there are several new docks for people to use. This was our 4th time there and we will come again.

The park is large, shaded and well kept up. It is between the lake and a lot of the small shops so you get the best of both worlds just by walking. Very relaxing.

We've been camping at Crosslake Recreation Area Campground for several years. As always it never disappoints us. It's clean, respectful, secure, and abundant in available activities. You can keep busy, or just relax and enjoy sitting around a campfire or relax in your r.v., trailer, or tent. Our only regret is that the summer goes too fast and we have to wait until next summer to enjoy again!

One thing that really upset us was when we went online to reserve 95%+ of the sites were reserved and just a few had 2 days in a row available... When we got there over 1/3 of the sites WERE EMPTY FOR OUR WHOLE STAY!!!!
Perhaps if you have all of these no-shows, you should charge them an additional day if they don't show up or cancel by 6:00 pm! You should absolutely not LET THE CAMPSITE SIT OPEN AND NOT USED FOR 3+ DAYS! NO SHOWS RESERVATIONS SHOULD BE CANCELED WITH NO REFUND! That may get them to be a little more considerate when making reservations!
