Clubhouse Lake Campgrounds are well maintained and the toilets are clean. It is located under an umbrella of towering red pines so there is plenty of shade, and the lake is a good fishing lake. I have been camping here for more than forty years so yes, I will return.

Great hosts! Ron and Doreen were awesome! The campsite we used (#47) was perfect for us. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and private. We will be back.

Northern Minnesota weather after a sweltering week in the cities was much needed. Campsites are well kept, vault toilets and latrine are well maintained, and the hosts were quite friendly.Campsite proximities are a curse and a blessing. We were camping with others so access to each others sites was easy as we were so close. The downside being that (noisy, noisy…) generators are also running from others’ nearby campsites. More things to note, each site next to the lake has their own path to the water (the only groomed beach and water is accessible to all) which is nice for access but also closer to the mosquitos, bring plenty of repellent.

Our site 002 was gorgeous and spacious. It was next to the beach so there was a lot of foot traffic but that was to be expected. The water is very clear. Lots of little Bass and bluegills in the lake.

Very well kept campground, but you need to be ready for very few services. No power, water or sewer connections, but if that's what you're looking for, this is the place. Ron the host was great, brought treats for the dog and kids. Nice quiet lake, caught several bass.
