Onegume Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and private sites, with friendly hosts who maintain the facilities well. Campers enjoy the natural surroundings, easy access to fishing, and the relaxing atmosphere. Some concerns include noise from nearby roads and issues with electrical power; however, many visitors express a desire to return for the overall enjoyable experience.

The sites have nice separation and provide privacy. The campground is quiet and a good choice for families. Nice amenity is that the campground is located on a lake and provides opportunities for swimming, fishing and canoeing or kayaking. For those with large boats there is a boat launching ramp near by.

A shower building and dump station would be a useful addition. 1 week stays are complicated because holding tanks get full from taking showers and there’s no place to dump.

Inaugural trip of our new trailer. As this trip was six months ago I don't remember which site we stayed in, but we had a little trail that went to the lake and it was easy to launch our kayak from there. Clean vault toilets., but no bath house. We took a small trail to a nearby resort where we enjoyed a beer and conversation with the owner. Across the highway from the resort there were more walking paths through the forest. Other than fighting a nightmarish amount of mosquitoes, we had a wonderful time.
