Winnie Dam Campground is a well-maintained and clean facility with spacious sites, friendly hosts, and excellent amenities such as clean bathrooms and hot showers. It is particularly popular among fishermen, who enjoy both the river and lake access. We enjoy the expansive sites. Everything is clean and well kept. The camp hosts are informative and friendly.
Fishing both at the dam and on the lake are fun and can usually catch nice size fish.
The Ice Cream at The Pines Resort just across the bridge is worth the walk (or drive).

The campground was clean and quiet. Nice hiking trails for the dog and had great weather! I wish the camp host would at least stop by to say hi. Never get to talk to them.

A very nice camp, we camped in our fifth wheel toy hauler. The one thing I want to stress is that there is no water hook ups at the sites(the website was worded such that we thought there was), we found that out after we set up. Lucky for us we were right next to the host and he lent us his hose and with ours it reached to his water source, thank you for that!

Nice campground, but the electric needs to be updated. We experienced constant surges of electric. There were also dogs running all over on their own without leashes. We had to yell at dogs to get out of our camp site multiple times. There were side by side utv's driving around, and the park rules state they are not allowed. I think the rules should be enforced, otherwise this nice campground will become out of control which would be a shame.

Nice campground. Would be nice to have hooks or shelves in shower areas to be able to put dry clothes on.
