I have been camping at Fenske every year for the last 10 years or since I first discovered it. This is the first time at the group site and it was magical. We had 16 people for the group camp all in tents and we could have had more people. What a great space what a great time of the year (late fall) to be there an experience the Northeast.

I appreciated that the trail to the fishing pier was paved, it made it easier to carry all my gear without worrying about tripping. The swimming area is well maintained and has a beautiful view.

The sites are nicely spread out and the pit toilets were clean.

Nice campsites and the outhouse facilities were very clean. Our stay was cut short due to the wildfires and shutdowns in the area but we'll be back!

Gorgeous site but quite the hike in the recent 100 degree weather.

The campground was beautiful, peaceful, and clean. Campsite 4 was tucked back in the woods about 50 yards down a two track road. I was able to back my 12 ft pop up trailer into the campsite but it might be difficult with a larger trailer.

We stayed at campsite 12. It had enough room to back in our ice castle and still park the truck. We liked the picnic table and fire ring was lower on the site and away from the camper - but there was also a nice flat area down there if you are tenting. The best part is how far away it seemed from everyone else. The only thing that was hard was we have an old dog & he couldn’t make it down the steeper hill to go swimming and he couldn’t swim at the beach (no dogs allowed there which is understandable) - so instead we took him to the boat launch around the corner and he enjoyed all the swims.
The deer flies were out in force - but luckily we had some wind.
We did have a tornado warning while we were there and we wish the hosts gave instructions or there were signs of places to go. Luckily the storm stayed south of us.

I came up to greet my daughter back from trail at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan, and Fenske was a great place to stay close by. We stayed in site 10 and it was a beautiful site on the lake without view of the adjacent camp sites.

Beautiful, secluded sites. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean.
