Great Pre-trip spot to camp before entering the BWCA.

One of my favorite spots in all of Minnesota. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding area, but it still feels secluded and removed from the hustle and bustle of other campgrounds. If you’re looking for peace, tranquility, and a chance to unwind, this is the place.

Absolutely loved the spot. Quiet, right next to the lake, and close proximity to Ely and all it had to offer. Bathrooms were clean, fire grate was great for grilling, and the trees were just starting to change colors. Folks with kids, be advised, site 8 does have stairs and ledges so extra attention needed. Will be back again!

This is a lovely, relatively small campground near the Boundary Waters. We like site #2 because it is flat, relatively close to the biffies and is quite private. The biffies are clean and there is a nice swimming area. About the only downside of this campground is that there aren't any services.

Great site and very close to Widgiwagan if you have kiddos out on their own adventure. 007 is superb.
