Stayed at site 73...again!!! This is becoming my favorite COE campground! Very clean and well maintained. Showers and restrooms. Super peaceful and very, very relaxing. Everyone on the staff is super friendly and helpful! Can't wait to stay there again. Also...if you need a good meal, the Big Winnie Bar and Cafe in Bena is the bomb!!

I'm so impressed with this COE park! Why can't all COE parks be this great! The bathroom/shower house was beautiful and cleaned every day! Mats on the floor of the showers so no slipping! Dryers up high on the walls to dry your hair. A laundry room with 2 of each and FREE! A large in floor washing tub for muddy things. Rakes and dog pick up tools for the taking to borrow and return. Now for the playground; beautiful playground, volleyball court, horseshoes and basketball hoops and best of all the equipment room with all the items needed to play the games! A beautiful shelter for picnics. Boats can be left in the water near your campsite! Our campsite was level, shaded and while I didn't care for the location it fit our RV and was easy in and out! Dump station also very easy in and out. Please COE try and update some of the other campgrounds to try and come up in standards to match Leech Lake!

  • Go directly to your campsite if you have a reservation; no check-in at the office is needed.
  • Check in on or after the first date of your reservation.

Cancellation policy

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

Vehicles & parking

  • Park vehicles and trailers on campsite pads or designated areas; tents must be on the campsite pad.
  • No ATVs, UTVs, or motorized scooters are permitted in the campground.

Pets

  • Keep pets leashed and clean up after them immediately.

Safety & rules

  • Swimming is prohibited at boat ramps, docks, and the mooring canal.

Fires & fuel

  • Use only certified firewood; unauthorized firewood may be removed and destroyed.
  • Buy firewood locally and burn it on-site to prevent pests; visit the provided website for info.
