Honestly didn’t stay long, couldn’t get firewood && the place was mosquito heaven. It’s in the way back of the park but yet it’s right next to the highway. Good luck to the next person!

Nice campground. Sites have long driveways. Camp site could have been cleaner.

Very well maintained and managed. Most sites are spread apart nicely and shaded. Location is secluded and popular with boaters needing access to Leech Lake. We are paved trail bike riders and drove to the Paul Bunyan and Heartland State Trails out of Walker, MN for some great rides (about 35 mi). Drove to Grand Rapids (about 42 mi) for Mesabi Trail and two of their great Breweries with outdoor seating during COVID. We stayed four nights and would come again.
