Exactly as described, space to stretch out without having neighbors so close they could see in your windows. Fire ring with cooking grate provided which was a nice surprise. Each campsite is a pull through which works great with the 40’ toy hauler. Every place we’ve been prior we had to unload before parking & leave the machine out until we left so this was an absolute win. Owner allowed the kids to ride their machines on the property, also a big plus. Of course, we made sure they were extra respectful of the property and other campers. We have a rather large shepherd and he was welcomed and had space enough to play & be 100% exhausted when we left.
Only suggestion would be to plant some leafy trees that would give some shade & relief from the sun. There’s plenty of trees but mostly pines.
Whoever wrote the single star review obviously was not a camper at this campsite! We also has a major storm the 1st night. There were no puddles and not possible beings the entire campsite is located on sandy ground. We had ZERO issue with the rain or pulling through with the truck and 40’ camper through the driveway, road or into the campsite. Some people can’t be satisfied I guess. If you’re looking for a place where the kids are being entertained by everything internet or electronic this may not be for you. If the kiddos have a little imagination then go for it. Ours enjoyed taking pictures of the sunsets and isn’t that why we take them camping?
