I visited briefly as a guest of fellow campers, so my experience was limited to a few hours rather than an overnight stay. That said, a few impressions stood out worth sharing.
My primary reservation, and the reason I have withheld a few stars, is the absence of a natural body of water; a lake, river, or pond suitable for swimming, boating, or fishing. While they do offer a small pool well suited for young children, it does not quite fill that role.
I also found the layout of the sites in our particular section to be somewhat lacking in thoughtfulness. However, I cannot speak to the rest of the property, and it is entirely possible that other areas are better arranged.
On a more positive note, the staff were genuinely pleasant and welcoming, and the campground carried an overall sense of calm and good upkeep. It made for a lovely, relaxing evening; and I suspect those who place less emphasis on water access would find it a very pleasant place to stay.

Terrible. Rates went up and activities and amenities went down. The guy smoking on his cigarette constantly is so rude. He drives around in his cart yelling at people. He told my kids they needed an adult at the pool. I have an 18 year old who is a certified Lifeguard. When I told him that, he said 'rules are rules' . They place has gone down hill and so had their customer service. Don't waste ur time camping here.

Convenient location for easy, low key camping. All sites have a campfire ring and picnic table. Grounds are well maintained. The swimming pool is well kept, too, and refreshing. Swimming area has reclining beach chairs, swivel chairs, and tables with umbrellas. So helpful during the past few 90+ degree days. Sites are mostly drive through and electric/water/sewer hookups available if needed. Two shower houses w restrooms. Lodge has some good treats and some games to borrow too.

We stayed here for 1 night. There were traffic delays and road closures on our way to the park. I called the office ahead of our arrival, desperate for some help in getting there. A very nice woman got the answers from the staff, and we were able to arrive safely. The people in the office were so very nice. The campground is pretty, clean and lovely. Unfortunately, we were not able to explore because the rain just never stopped - from our arrival to our departure. But this park is a keeper for sure. Also, extra bonus points for the most entertaining list of rules ever!

I am a repeat visitor to this resort. The team was great in finding me a spot with a little shade. The one thing that keeps me from giving a 5-star review is there is consistency with loud machine use during the day and well into the evening-circular saw usage past 7 pm several times during my short stay. The landscaping also runs multiple days per week for several hours again into the evenings. Very hard to determine any quiet times for those of us looking for quiet times for working
