Love's RV Hookup-Rockville MN 842

I posted an earlier review giving the place only 4 stars because of some hookup hiccups. I'd like to revise my rating, based on the customer service and cleanliness of the facilities during a stay of several days. There is a problem (IMO) with requiring an advance reservation and payment. In my case, the Love's Connect app doesn't work on my (yes, Android) phone. Mark, the manager, struggled mightily to get power turned on for me when I arrived. It turned out that (a) the software was being updated right then and (b) the power stanchion for my chosen site didn't work anyway. Mark went way out of his way to help me get power, and get comfortable in bitter temperatures. As for the facilities and other staff: everyone was cheerful, friendly and helpful. The place was spotless and I know it's because people were always cleaning; I saw them in action. Heck, I even like the music playlist! If this is typical of Love's RV Hookups then I'll look for them every time...but the reservation requirement is still a problem.

The park was easy to find. It is located on the south west corner of the cross road intersection of 94 and 23. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient via a self serve kiosk. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are all paved as are the marked pads.

Our site, 01, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30/50 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left rear. Distancing is very close but understandable since it is just a parking lot. Each site has trash can but NO table or fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was clean and tidy .

We did not use the park included wifi. There is NO cable TV. We did not look for any OTA channels. Satellite will not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean.

The only food option is Hardee’s which we found to be awful but just a short drive away you can find better food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $53.71 US inc tax with our seniors discount per night and we feel we received poor value. $35.00 would be more appropriate. We will not back.

We appreciate the Love's RV Hookups! They made our trip this year much easier. We were able to reserve a site, easy on and off the highway.

Like most Loves, this Loves was very clean. Good selection of quick snacks. It has RV hook ups and a dog area. Note, if you are heading west it is a LEFT turn not a U turn.
I mainly stop a Loves for the hard boiled eggs and the clean bathrooms for my wife

Wonderful 1 night stay. Clean and convenient. Even though we stayed along the interstate it was quiet at night, no idling semi truck noise. Very nice staff. We had mistakenly booked for the wrong night and they gladly made the change for us. Great dog Park, but it's a shame that not all dog owners pick up after their pets even when there are bags and a trash can for their convenience. We will definitely look around our travels and stay at a Loves RV again.
