The campground is awesome and well taken care of.

The boat landing needs some work, your trailer can fall off the concrete ramp due to all the gravel washed away.

Was very surprised by how much the lake has dropped since my June trip while others in the area have not dropped that much.

We enjoyed our time at Crescent Lake. Close enough to the activities along the north shore but far enough to get away from the crowds. A decent amount of space and privacy between campsites. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Boat landing was better then anticipated and the fishing was good. Mosquitoes where around but not nearly has bad as we were anticipating, but were easily kept at bay by using a couple Thermacell's. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would return someday.

We have been going here for years!! The camp host (Jack)is very nice and helpful. The road inside the campground needs a lot of work though. It needs the brush cleared back. It gets so you could have a collision on the corners if you meet a car. The road also needs to be graded because there are several very deep pot holes. Also lots of the camp site need brushing out to help with bug control.

If you go, be fully prepared for bears. There was a bear ripping open tents the day we got there. Other than that, it was a good campsite. I wish that the layout of the campground was a little more clear in the booking process. We didn’t really know what to expect and then got there and the site was pretty small and basically in a mosquito bog. It was very buggy but that’s just to be expected in Minnesota. The fire pit was in ground not above and the grill was not super functional. I wouldn’t describe it as a family friendly campsite.

Jack the camp host was friendly and welcoming. He made sure the bathrooms were clean and even told us where to see some beautiful water falls. I would for sure come here again. The only negative was the cold at night in a tent. I guess mother nature didn't get the memo that is was June :)

Toilets & campsites very clean. Campground host courteous. A great experience! Please do not electrify campsites. That would ruin the entire character of it. It would soon be overrun by people who just want to bring their home with them & lock up sites for weeks at a time.

It was after the opening of fishing season and the dock was not in the water at the boat landing yet. Several trees had blown down in our campsite and several others over the course of the winter. The camp host had not started yet so the bathrooms were out of paper. We still had a good time in that we brought a saw and toilet paper but the outfitter who takes care of the camp when the host isn't around, dropped the ball.
