First visit. Enjoyed stay. Site and overall campgrounds clean. Level concrete pad. Large gravel picnic area on camp side of pad.
Suggestions: 1. Add pet waste cans near the Bathroom/Shower buildings. Had to walk all the way to the dump station where the dumpsters are. Choose not to throw pet waste bags in the interior bathroom/shower garbage can, so as not to create any odor issues.
2. Place well identified signage when water outages occur. Checked-in and unaware of water outage (site vs. entire campground) until I called. A simple sign at the camp entrance could have saved calls to the camp office. 3. Waste tank flush hose at dump station had large leak with attempted tape repair needs replacement. 4. Post a sign warning bike riders to slow down in the downhill curve above site 65. Two separate riders crashed at our site. One out of control (speed) rider coming out of the downhill curve crossing the site and crashing into the wooded area and the other losing control crashing onto the pavement in front of our vehicle. Thankfully, both were not seriously injured.

The lady that ck us in was exceptionally helpful and kind (Brittney) I think. Host family was great. Only issue was it being our first time my wife parked in the wrong area for bathhouse and some guy got pretty rude with her

Campground is as expected, gate attendant was very nice, quiet and calm, easy to find our spot, waterfront was nice and grass short, site gravel was clean and not scattered, kids riding bikes and everyone looked to be enjoying themselves, playground was clean, park attendant was seen a few times driving through the park keeping an eye on things, beach and beach park were clean trash-wise but needed raking/weed removal, dump station was clean and easy to access with 2 lanes (only one had water hose hookup for tank spraying), the bathhouse access path was hard to see in the dark and not well marked (we cut through an empty spot at night but saw it better in the morning), bathhouse was clean and maintained

My 50 amp breaker didn’t work and I told them on Sunday. Mid week I fixed it myself and saw a maintenance guy Friday and told him not to worry about it and he said it wasn’t on the work order list anyway. I saw a lady up there 1 time the rest of the time it wasn’t 2 young boys nice camp ground though

Our stay at Blue Bluff was great. We rode our bikes and took a walk around the park.
We also went to downtown Aberdeen to see what was happening there but a lot of the shops are closed down.
We met a nice man named Mr. Pearly that was our neighbor. He was a regular there.
The park was clean and quiet.

Beautiful views directly from our Site. Plenty of room to maneuver our 32 foot fifth wheel within the campground and getting into our spot.

From Highway 45 in Aberdeen. Mississippi, travel to the intersection of Commerce and Meridian Streets in the downtown area. From Commerce turn north on Meridian and cross a railroad track and a bridge. The recreation area is the first right turn after the bridge.
Blue Bluff Campground is accessible via Highway 45, which runs through Aberdeen, MS.

Policies & Rules
General
- This is a year-round facility
- Reservations cannot be made at the campground gate house.
- Sites are avalible for reservation. All reservations must be made by using Recreation.gov.
- Gates are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; there is an emergency exit for campers
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- LOCAL CAMPING POLICIES A limit of 8 people per site. The America The Beautiful Senior and Access cards are accepted at this campground for discount camping. When making a reservation only one card can be used on one reservation. If multiple reservations are made with one card one reservation will receive the discount and the others will have to pay the full price upon check-in. A camping extension is no more than 14 additional camping days beyond a camper’s initial 14 day camping limit. For each camping extension granted, a camping party cannot exceed 14 days per extension and can only pay for 14 days at a time. Peak Season Extension Policy: Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Campgrounds. After the initial 14 day stay one extension is allowed on a non-prime site for a total of 28 days during peak season (March 1- Sept. 15). At the end of this 28 day stay the camper and equipment must move to another campground on the project but may return to the campground after 7 days. If camping on a prime site the camper must move to a non-prime site after the initial 14 day stay. Off Season Extension Policy: Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Campgrounds. After the initial 14 day stay no more than one extension will be allowed on a non-prime site for a total of 28 days during the off season (Sept.13 -Feb. 28). At the end of this 28 day stay the camper and equipment must move to another campground on the project but may return to the campground after 7 days. Length of stay on a prime site during the off season remains limited to 14 days. A camper may stay on a prime site 14 days, and move to a non-prime site for 14 days. Extensions beyond the 14 day limit will not be granted during major summer holidays. First Come First Serve Policy: When a site becomes available for rental a walk-in customer must be at the park and first at the window to pay for a campsite. Please turn in all passes to the park attendant when leaving the campground. Only empty boat trailers are allowed to be parked on grass.
