Enjoyed the park and staff. The biggest problem is lack of lighting on the kids play area. While we deliberately chose a sight with the playground in view it was the darkest area in the park. I can understand wanting to keep light pollution down. But it is unsafe to have ZERO lighting where the kids congregate and leave toys and shoes behind that can not be found in the dark. Otherwise the facilities were very well cleaned and staff was excellent!

Very relaxing campground, clean and quiet. Just wish it had sewer hookup at each camp site.

First time visit to this location. Was very nice. Easy to get to. Not far from town. In case you need something. Had a great water view site. As several sites was next to the water. Easy to bank fish. Host was friendly.
Will come again.

Great park, first time visit.
Clean campground even when budget cuts are so obvious around most campgrounds in the area. Park attendants keep sites clean and bathhouses fresh and cleaned daily. Check in post is only open 2-4 daily.
Updates are happening currently with old wooden site border being replaced with concrete borders and fresh limestone for the grilling and lounging pads.
Columbus is only 25 mi away and offers shopping and restaurants in abundance, don’t miss the Riverwalk there. Two grocery stores in Aberdeen to get supplies.
Short ride on bikes to the lock and dam area to watch large boats and barges in action as they travel.

The camp site (16) was great.
There is a broken limb hanging from tree above camper you may want to checkout.
Can you please consider hanging a fan in bathhouses to circulate air?
