The stay was peaceful. There is not a place for kids to swim. We usually bring grand kids but not this time. Bath houses were very nice & clean. Host people were very nice & helpful. We brought the boat to go fishing but fish were not bitting the 2 days we put boat in. Camp sites were really clean & well kept.

I think it is way too dark on the roads, and the playground. People are still out walking with children and there are only like a couple

Love that area love the staff the staff was great and the price I would’ve like to send something a little bit better like at least be able to get some firewood. Also, the grass was not mowed. Trees were not trimmed back. I had walked through tall grass to get to my stuff in my RV trees were scraping the top of my RVs. Would’ve like to see the Grounds taken care of a lot more.
Also do not like the fact that a lot of people look like they were living there like they weren’t just staying the 14 days they were living there in tents .

We arrived shortly after a storm hit the area. Lots of clean up and neighbors helping neighbors. It’s a beautiful area to visit and Benton is close by with access to anything needed. The park is well maintained with great trails. We stay here on our trips between the north and south and has become one of our favorite places.

This is our new favorite!! Very nice and informative hosts. Clean bathrooms and a nice hot shower. The people we met will become lifelong friends. We can't wait to visit again. Very family friendly. Lots of pets.

Policies & Rules
General
- This is a year-round facility
- Reservations cannot be made at the campground gate house.
- Sites are avalible for reservation. All reservations must be made by using Recreation.gov.
- Gates are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; there is an emergency exit for campers
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- LOCAL CAMPING POLICIES A limit of 8 people per site. The America The Beautiful Senior and Access cards are accepted at this campground for discount camping. When making a reservation only one card can be used on one reservation. If multiple reservations are made with one card one reservation will receive the discount and the others will have to pay the full price upon check-in. A camping extension is no more than 14 additional camping days beyond a camper’s initial 14 day camping limit. For each camping extension granted, a camping party cannot exceed 14 days per extension and can only pay for 14 days at a time. Peak Season Extension Policy: Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Campgrounds. After the initial 14 day stay one extension is allowed on a non-prime site for a total of 28 days during peak season (March 1- Sept. 15). At the end of this 28 day stay the camper and equipment must move to another campground on the project but may return to the campground after 7 days. If camping on a prime site the camper must move to a non-prime site after the initial 14 day stay. Off Season Extension Policy: Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Campgrounds. After the initial 14 day stay no more than one extension will be allowed on a non-prime site for a total of 28 days during the off season (Sept.13 -Feb. 28). At the end of this 28 day stay the camper and equipment must move to another campground on the project but may return to the campground after 7 days. Length of stay on a prime site during the off season remains limited to 14 days. A camper may stay on a prime site 14 days, and move to a non-prime site for 14 days. Extensions beyond the 14 day limit will not be granted during major summer holidays. First Come First Serve Policy: When a site becomes available for rental a walk-in customer must be at the park and first at the window to pay for a campsite. Please turn in all passes to the park attendant when leaving the campground. Only empty boat trailers are allowed to be parked on grass.
