A beautiful campground in the forest. Host was great. Sites are big and level with gravel patio for table. The walk around both lakes is beautiful. We didn't get to explore other trails because of rain. The campground is about 20 mins off the natchez trace parkway.

This campground is so pleasant, peaceful, and scenery is nice overlooking lake. Not a large campground but that’s why we like to visit it. Trails are nice, too. The campground host is awesome. We only wish the campground would stay open year round.

Small quiet campground. Most sites have plenty of shade and generous space.
Very nice friendly host and friendly regular campers.
Only down side is is no showers. They have shower facilities, but the water is off.
Otherwise, best Mississippi State Park I have experienced.

The campground is beautiful. The 3 rating is because the camp host was rarely at the campground.
When he was there he would leave 3 small dogs outside barking and they could be heard throughout the campground and inside our 5th wheel. The bathrooms had a lot of spider webs inside and some dead bugs that were there the entire time we were staying there. Also the 50amp outlet had a ground fault on it so we had to use the 30amp outlet for our stay.

Very nice park. Three things would have made it a great park. 1. sewer hook ups. 2. The grass needed cutting. 3. It would be nice to have the park open year round. The park hosts did a great job checking on the campers and making sure the sites were clean and ready for the next people.
