Legends of the Bayou RV Park

We booked a last minute spot for our Mardi Gras parade in town. It was a 5 minute ride from our meet up spot in town so, SUPER convenient. VERY clean sites! We used the showers one night and it was so so clean. Onsite laundry is nice although we didn’t use it. Very friendly neighbors. Very quiet and peaceful!

We stayed here during the bad weather. From the road I called and was given a reservation and instuctions how to get to my space, so kind. The shower/bathroom are amazing, large, and so clean. As I said, we were on the road and needed a place, and I could not have done better. Will definitely try to come again, views and place are amazing.

The park is easy to access from I 10. It is located in a quiet area but close to all that Bay St Louis has to offer. . There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was via your welcome email or by phone. There does not appear to have permanent staff at the park. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are graveled and in good condition.

Our site, 27, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach. Our towed parked diagonally in front. Services (50 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left rear. Distancing is fair for a rural park. One would need to request a table and there is NO fire pit. Our site was reasonably flat and even. Overall the park was clean and well maintained.

There is park included wifi that we did not use. There is NO cable TV but we did were able to find any OTA channels. Satellite would not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean and modern. Be aware, one must climb a good sized staircase to reach the washrooms and laundry. They are built to withstand a storm surge.

There is a boat launch ramp and wharf.

There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $54.60 per night (inc tax) and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay at Legends of the Bayou RV Park. Clean restrooms & laundry. Small park and does not have many amenities but if you enjoy relaxing view, wildlife and being close to many great restaurants and beautiful beaches this park is for you! The manager is responsive, friendly and accommodating.

Really enjoyed this quiet and cozy RV park that welcomes pets. Exactly what we were looking for as a stopover off I10, not too far from the highway and close to restaurants, stores and the beach. My husband loved the dock and fishing from site 27 closest to the boat ramp. Sites were gravel but level with good connections (50amp but they offer adapters) and modern restroom/ shower/ laundry facilities upstairs. Communications were great and booking/check-in was super easy online. Would definitely come back again!
