Not a good experience, Find another campground!
Extremely disappointed with our stay at Peaceful Pines. As noted by other reviewers this is an older park with mostly residential campers. There are about 10 pull thru sites for overnight stays. There was no check in / check out time posted so we arrived at about 12:30 pm. The office was closed with a sign showing “back at 12:45”. We parked, called posted phone number to let them know we arrived and got voicemail. Office staff showed up around 1:20 pm. Our reserved site was 99 but there was a vehicle parked in the site so the staff told us to take any open site. Turned out the parked vehicle belonged to the full time camper in site 98. Site 97 was open so we pulled in and set up. Asphalt pad was fairly level but narrow and in poor condition. We had to search for the sewer drain as it was covered with overgrown grass. Used the laundry room, very old and poorly maintained. One dryer had wires hanging out and was not functional, others were questionable. Our site’s electrical connection was inconsistent but seemed to level out once we reset the breaker. We tried using the electrical on the next site ..96.. but that 30 amp plug was upside down and did not work. That site was partially underwater and blocked off by a cone. The electrical held up during dinner but overnight, the power cut out multiple times causing our internal appliances to turn on and off and beeping each time. Had to go out to the power box to manually shut off the breaker to get some sleep. In the morning, turned the breaker on and had NO power to our trailer. About 9am the office staff was available and they had a guy come to the site to rewire and install a new breaker. Paid $50 for this site and requested a full or partial refund for the inconvenience. The person on staff said they would speak with the manager, as only the manager could issue a refund. When nothing was issued, called 2 days later, left a message. Still no response from the campground. If you must stay here, don’t expect much. They are way overpriced for what they offer. Would not recommend, would not return.

(Dec. 8, 2026)Mrs. Shirley came to my husband today telling him that the Supervisor told her that we can't have a fire pit... the rules state we can... we have a fire protection mat... we have a proper firepit above ground, been up since Oct. 14... we're using the concrete that we pay for, her words... the lawncare/maintenance guy gave us the wood from this RV Park property, ma'am... please... stop harassing us!!! The Manager has been here since April of 2025 and has never been a RV Manager... she told me this as she was checking us in on the phone, she's only worked with the Owners at their Apartment Complexs... just wanted to get that out... she's HORRIBLE... she's RUDE... but we don't have to like her to live here... she has 10 major projects going but not a single one finished just in the short time we've been here!!! Just go check out the pictures... it tells you everything! The laundry rooms are dirty and the units are always broke done!!! The buildings out in the park need to be condemned!!!

My friend recommended this park to me because he lived here at one time. I've lived here since March of 2025 just before the change of ownership and I must say its a very big difference. They try to keep the riff raff out and its such a peaceful little neighborhood and everyone watches out for another. Its nice to have such friendly people around. And love the gatherings the front office manager puts together. They really do make you feel at home here. They have been working on upgrading a few things in the park which is very over due. But that is also negligence from the previous owners who apparently just gave up. But as we all know those things dont happen over night. I would recommend staying here to anyone. And if you dont like the place well good thing your in an rv and you can LEAVE! ROLL OUT!

We've been coming to this park for about 25 years. For the last 10-15 we've always requested lot 91. Our Dish Satelite works there. Last year after Cruising the Coast we were put on the list for 2025 Cruisin. ( 1st week in Oct). I called about 5 weeks before just to make sure when i realised they hadn't called like normal. I was told they had rented lot91 and all of them in that area. She told me they had cable on the lot 30 that we could get. We arrive on Oct. 4. Pay a.lot more than we've ever paid, but its ok. Everything hss gone up. Bill checks in and is told theres no cable. We get to the site and try to get the Satelite to work but this area has to many trees. We tried the antena and all , we got was weird channels. Called Dish they confirmed it was probably the trees. Now you say why make a fuss about TV. Bill enjoys watching his news and certain shows. He's worked hard his whole life and deserves his little pleasures of watching TV. Anyway, i doubt we'll ever come back to this park. Since it changed hands it feels. Greedy. Prices higher, fewer services.
