What Guests Are Saying
Dub Patton Campground is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, and well-maintained sites, offering beautiful views and a sense of seclusion. Many guests enjoyed the spacious and quiet tent areas, despite some outdated restroom facilities and ongoing construction affecting lake access. While there are some concerns regarding cleanliness and site leveling, overall, visitors appreciated the natural beauty and tranquility of the campground, making it a desirable spot for camping and family time.

The entire place has nothing good to say. My mother always said if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it.

We stayed at Site 9. This “tent only” spot had electricity and water connections. It was a quiet and spacious spot located at the end of the loop. There was even a little hideaway spot off to the right. Restrooms and showers were close by. They are very outdated, but there were signs stating that they will be working on them soon.
We had a few visitors: ants, mosquitoes, and even a family of raccoons. Mississippi Mosquitoes do not play around, so bring your bug spray. Had a gorgeous view of the sunrise the next morning.
There was VERY LITTLE water since they are currently working on the dam. There was no garbage can set up, but that is understandable with the wildlife around. The spillway was blocked off because of the construction being done; therefore, my favorite walking trails were not accessible.

Our site was at the entrance of the park. The site had plenty of shade and was quiet. We would definitely come back to the park if we were in the area again. We did notice that the lake was a dry lake.

Site1, the asphalt pavement was breaking off with little room to walk on that side of the trailer. One wrong step and you could fall down the hill.

Avoid campsites 1 & 2. Campsite 1 is unsafe. You have to park your RV next to a small hill/cliff. If you exit your RV you may tumble over the cliff. Huge broken off chunks/boulders of asphalt laying in site. 30 Amp electric not working, only 50 amp. Bathroom/showers filthy. Sites were not well kept. We saw no dumpster. The only blessing was there was another spot for us to move to.
