It rained the whole time we were there, but the worst part was I wasn’t informed at the time I was making my family’s reservation, that it was a burn band. If I would have known this I wouldn’t have made reservations. The supervising attendant, a heavy set white male stopped my kids that were walking down the drive and told them that we weren’t supposed to have a fire instead of stopping at the at the camp site where I (the adult) was and speak to me. He never said to put the fire out to them. The following evening he came back through again and stopped by the camp site and told me there was a burn band and that I had to put the fire out. I told him that nobody had said anything to me about a fire and that I couldn’t have one. He then tells me that he had spoken to me at the gate and told me that I couldn’t have a fire, which he did not, but insisted that he had. We went back and forth about it with him saying he knew it was me, again it was not me. I told him that I didn’t appreciate him basically calling me a lie and that I’d put the fire out. He said he wasn’t going to argue with me about it. My family and I then packed up and left after that interaction with the attendant. We only stayed 1 of the 3 nights I paid for and will not be going back. The attendant was very arrogant and rude and in my opinion doesn’t need to have a job position that interacts with people. There were other things about the weekend that was bad, but to me his attitude and rudeness was the worst and completely unacceptable and not called for.

We like this campground, wish they had full hookup sites (the dump station is one of the poorest I've seen...we didn't use it, it's on top of a hill and not big rig friendly). Also they need to get rid of first come first serve, it's 2023...plus all the big rig friendly sites are not reservable.

Small but cute and quiet. We stayed in the "primitive" area with no electric hookups but they did have water. This area had a vault toilet and there was an air conditioned and very clean bathroom/shower for anyone to use.
