Love camping at DeWayne Hayes! Sites are spacious and level. Staff is courteous. Close to shopping and dining. Cell service is not too good. Don't try to use our Satellite because off trees but that is just part of camping.

This camp was top notch! There is a security gate at the entrance that is manned with friendly & helpful people. The sites are spread apart nicely and are level. Our site was on the river which was great for viewing but is too steep of a drop to actually get to the water. All the other campers were extremely friendly and courteous and very quiet. There was a hiking trail but we didn’t take advantage of it. There was also a boat ramp within the park and large covered picnic areas. Each site had a charcoal grill and picnic table. The nearby AF base did have some planes training in the sky during the day causing a little noise, but we enjoy watching them so it was no bother to us. The trash dumpster & dump station are at the exit for your convenience. I would highly recommend this park and would stay here again.
