Such a nice, clean campground with flat/level sites. Not hard to back in at all. Very nice camp host as well.

Always enjoy Dewayne Hayes. The cleaning service keeps the bathrooms clean. The volunteers are pleasant and work to have the sites ready for the next guest. Fun to watch the barges coming down the river.

I had a very enjoyable 2 week stay. All of the attendants and hosts were wonderful! I ended up switching sites with their help so I could watch the barges. Site 3 is wonderful with a very nice view of the river, but moved to 76 so I could see the barges but still have full hookups. There is a very nice paved trail that meandered by the slough. Shower houses were very clean. And close enough for a very short drive into town for replenishing supplies. Sunsets were beautiful. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We love the riverfront sites, especially being able to see the barges. I think we’ve seen deer (and squirrels) every time we’ve camped here. Hosts are always friendly and helpful.

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. Host were very nice and keep the campground clean and running smoothly. AT&T phone service was good and was able to pick up a good many over the air tv stations. Definitely one of our favorite places to camp.

All of the workers and park rangers went above and beyond to assist us. They were kind and efficient. Love the campground - so quiet. Love to watch deer and there were a lot to watch! Beautiful trees and water views. Would definitely recommend this campground!

really nice place. Only complaint is the air force base nearby, constant plane noise.
