What Guests Are Saying
Persimmon Hill offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious, and mostly level campsites, many with beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, including deer. Facilities are well-maintained, and the campground provides excellent value, especially for seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass. While some sites have minor issues, such as grass height and traffic concerns, most visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite destination for many.

We love this campground. It's clean and we love the trails and close access to the lake and beach

Kind of sad. Many unsupervised kids on bikes all over darting through sites, not paying attention to cars.. Parents not watching and just drinking at their site or no parents outside to watch kids at all. Bad combination and could be deadly. might never return.

The grounds and bathrooms have declined DRASTICALLY! We were there in October of 23 and it was spotless, went back for July 4th and the bathrooms were disgusting.

We were in site 43, it was clean, grass was cut and host were very friendly. We were not water side site, however our rv faced the water and it was an amazing view from our front windshield.
