Persimmon Hill is everything we want in a campground. There is a huge beautiful lake with a swimming area, plenty of opportunities to fish and boat, clean campground with flat concrete pads, heated and cooled bathhouses/rest rooms, and lots of woods for hiking and exploring.

Campground was very clean. Only gave a 4 star as wind was blowing making it so cold I wasn't able to be outside (Not a fault of the campsite, but didn't think it was fair to give a 5 star rating without being able to experience the whole campground). Will be back in a warmer weather period. Would recommend this campground to anyone.

This is a place where the host are helpful and friendly, the park rangers are present when needed. So with that being said it is great clean family place to come. You will not regret trying this place.

Really lovely campground. I really enjoyed the paved trail through the woods that’s easily accessible from anywhere in the park.
