What Guests Are Saying
Persimmon Hill offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious, and mostly level campsites, many with beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, including deer. Facilities are well-maintained, and the campground provides excellent value, especially for seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass. While some sites have minor issues, such as grass height and traffic concerns, most visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite destination for many.

Having camp host warn us of previous nights break-in/thief’s was discouraging. Especially since I was told to report any suspicious activities but not where/who to report to. Have always felt very safe here. But they are not exempt from the bad in the world. We still love this campground.

Very nice park. I was glad that park came around and told us of a few vehicles that were tampered with and things taken. I’ve never been camping where that happened but it was nice they told us about it. We always lock up but we generally shall items out but we took precautions and put up all our belongs outside. It was much appreciated!

This was a clean really well laid out park. The walk back into the woods to see the waterfall is beautiful.
