What Guests Are Saying
Persimmon Hill offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious, and mostly level campsites, many with beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, including deer. Facilities are well-maintained, and the campground provides excellent value, especially for seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass. While some sites have minor issues, such as grass height and traffic concerns, most visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite destination for many.

Very nice relaxing weekend! Only complaint was that site 64 didn't have any grass near the parking pad and it rained our last night so it was a muddy mess but nothing a little sod can't help! Campgrounds are very well maintained and we will definitely be back!

Nice and quiet, lake very low. Sites were covered with leaves but that is to be expected.

This campground was beautiful and clean. We stayed 5 days and 4 nights. The only complaint I have is some campers didn’t have their pets leashed.
