We stay at this park regularly. It is well maintained. You need reservations because it stays booked. Our only complaint is the park can’t seem to get a handle on long term or full timers. They just seem to move from one spot to another. Basically living in the park! Some of these perm people have no regard for the condition of their RV’s. We have experienced some pretty run down (poor condition) units staying long term at the park. They move from one side of the park to the other. Every other week. It’s pretty obvious they don’t have any regard for week ender or traveling patrons. The rangers and park host do a good job but we wish they had more leverage in dealing with this. People shouldn’t be allowed to live at the park. Regardless if they move from one side to the other every 14 days. It makes it hard for others to make reservations. They work the system. Other than this issue the park is very nice.

This is a super nice campground, has all amenities required for a pleasurable camping trip. Been camping @ Persimmon Hill campground for many many years. Would recommend to anyone for pleasurable trip. Grounds are kept up really nice, probably better than any other Corp of Engineers campground I have ever visited. KUDOS to the management & maintenance team associated with Persimmon Hill Campground & all other Corp of Engineers campgrounds located on Enid Reservoir, Enid MS.

Nicest campground we have stay at in Mississippi. Site was right on the water. Very clean and well maintained.
Only negative and the reason I didn’t give 5 Stars is there was no hand soap in the restrooms. One would think and especially during these times of Covid that hand soap would be available in the restrooms.

First time to stay at a COE site and was very impressed. Will definitely stay again. Sites were all paved with a large parking apron. Full hook ups. Nice picnic table, fire pit, lamp post, and grill on every site. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. View of Enid Lake from camp side window. Wooded area behind campsite. Many of the sites had water views. Enjoyed the swing overlooking the water at sunset. Able to fish from campground and caught four different types of fish. There is also a swim beach, playground, basketball court, and a multi-purpose trail on site. Park Ranger drove by approximately every two hours.
Was a little disappointed that the fish hatchery was closed.
