Enjoyed our weekend at Persimmon. Love how nice and clean the campground is. Enjoyed our view of the lake and got to watch the deer come down to drink.

Site was level and shady as advertised. However, there were numerous pieces of small litter at the site. Bath houses, men's and womem's, were always clean, and there was plenty of hot water. At one visit, my wife discovered there was no toilet pate in her bath house. She reported it to the camp host and the matter was quickly solved. There were camp hosts but no sign which host was on duty nor was there any checkin procedures. I learned from a Park Ranger that the host traveled the campground in the morning and checked each site. Seemed unusual from previous campgrounds we have visited. Overall a good experience.
