Grass needed mowing badly.
Seldom saw the hosts
Fire ants need treatment.
Rangers came by fairly often.
It's a beautiful place.
Despite these problems we enjoy going there.

We enjoyed our stay at Persimmon Hills even though it stormed nearly every day. It is a nice, mostly quiet facility. It is very well kept. Some of the sites are arranged a little strange with the picnic tables and fire rings in inconvenient places. But overall a good place to camp. We will go back.

Such a beautiful campground! This was my 4th visit and this is my favorite place to be. I was camping with a tiny camper group and we had so much fun (even though we got soaked in a sudden thunderstorm). The sites are very spacious. The only thing that would make it better is if the bathhouses were updated.

Campsites are very nice size. The bathrooms are not exceptional, but adequate. The area as a whole is exceptional.

we love coming to Enid lake Persimmons Hill campground for a monthly get away. The campground is only 2 hours from our home and we enjoy the relaxing time while there. The camp is clean and well cared for, a plus in anyone's book. The camp sites for the most part are well spaced and easy to back into, with just the right amount of trees.
