What Guests Are Saying
Persimmon Hill offers a lovely camping experience with clean, spacious, and mostly level campsites, many with beautiful lake views and abundant wildlife, including deer. Facilities are well-maintained, and the campground provides excellent value, especially for seniors with the America the Beautiful Pass. While some sites have minor issues, such as grass height and traffic concerns, most visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite destination for many.

Campsite clean and well kept except for fire pit.
Great place for a family get together. We had a group of 12 and had plenty of room for everyone. Parking was located close to campsite.

Enjoyed our weekend at Persimmon. Love how nice and clean the campground is. Enjoyed our view of the lake and got to watch the deer come down to drink.
