A quick stop on our way south, just one night. Had the park pretty much to ourselves, but we loved the full hookups and the pull-through site. Pretty, I'll bet, later in the season. Would try again.

Because of the weather predicted for the 18th. I did not camp at Wallace Creek. I drove straight home on the 17th. when I stayed on the 2nd of February, I liked it so much that I thought I would be staying on the 17th, but weather did not permit. Next year when I go south, I will stay again.

Beautiful and well-cared-for camp. Sites vary as to how level they are. Many followed the existing grade and would be too out of level for many longer units. We stayed at site 91 which is on the tip of the point overlooking the lake. Our motorhome just made being level. Water pressure was great, and the power was clean. Camp hosts were friendly.

we loved the camp ground and or camp site. I wish I would have had my boat. I would recommend bringing a boat if you have one.

Wallace Creek is an excellent COE campground. It is one of the nicest we have used and/or seen. Site 65 is a nice winter spot. However, during the summer months it might be much warmer due to the lack shade trees.
We will be back.
