Very laidback atmosphere. Well run park with a behind the scenes approach. It may be the most beautiful campground in the southeast. Ours was a family trip so we had sites 18&20. High above the waterfront with massive green area between you and the water. Simply perfect.

The sites were great but the bathrooms/shower houses were neglected. That's too bad because the property is beautiful and offers many options for camping.

The view was spectacular!! Very peaceful and quiet.. the only thing wrong was the electric pole/outlet was FULLY ENGULFED WITH ANTS! Once we plugged up they came out of the breakers, and outlet in swarms! I have never seen this before. Other than the ants, everything else was AMAZING! Definitely going back very soon.

Loved being in the woods, fire cooking on it and just enjoying. Learned something new. When the driveway or site says something about 3% or4% it means it is not level!
Wow but got help from a ranger to make our stay wonderful!!!
