This is a beautiful park with full hookups and many sites with wonderful views of the lake. The sunrises and sunsets are outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would come back. I would have given 5 stars but the fire pit at this site is a steep little walk to get to not very near to the site and the area for the hookups was built up with clay, which made for very messy shoes after a rain. And not a bad drive to town for supplies. Good enough size to have anything you need.

Great experience, clean, well maintained and nice sized sites that have large pads that are mostly level. Park is laid out on hilly terrain and the pads are well higher than the rest of your he site is. Water sites have beautiful views of the lake and many are pull throughs.
Water is low on lake but is to be expected as Enid Lake is a flood control lake that is lowered to accept Spring flows in the area.
Feel very safe with all the visits we saw from law enforcement, Corp employees and rangers, not to mention how good the hosts are to visit through many times daily.
Looking forward to another visit.

My wife & I stayed over the weekend at Wallace Creek location called the “Wood Pile”. The camp site is nice and well maintained. However, my wife went to the women’s bathroom only to find a male individual and two females showering inside. I’m a retired law-enforcement detective, and observed all three individuals coming out of the bathroom. It was learned that they were not campers and were taking advantage of the free facilities. My wife heard while inside, them talking about going to jail on drug charges. When reporting this to a female ranger, she informed me that trans individuals had a right to use the woman’s facilities and there was nothing they could do. First, no he was not a trans and furthermore he had no right in the woman’s restroom. Wallace Creek is not doing enough to ensure its guest are safe and protected. This incident could have went in the wrong direction if I hadn’t stepped in and run them off. Simple safety measures could be used to deter these potential opportunist. Cameras outside the restrooms or utilizing host to screen potential campers are a few suggestions.
