We stayed a familiar site #53. Our first time back since last fall in November. The Ice Storm in Jan destroyed so many trees and there were so many that had to be removed the landscape had totally changed. Our list of favorite sites during the different seasons has changed based on shade, view and beauty.

We love Wallace Creek! We stay there every Memorial weekend. However, the past few years the grass has been very high. I understand the park was closed recently due to storm damage and I’m glad it was reopened for Memorial but the grass should be mowed before a major holiday weekend. We will return but I hope they start keeping the grounds up better.

Beware of the bird-he will continually fly into your rv for the duration of your stay. He is very noisy and pesky. Site is nice and flat, but not much shade.
