Wallace creek has always been a great place to camp. The camp hosts are some of the nicest people you will meet. They are always willing to help. One item that could be approved on would be the constant parking in βno parkingβareas along the main camp roads. Recent visit there was truck and boat trailer parked on grassy area off the road by spot 30. This can add driving hazards to those pulling longer campers or big rig motorhomes. Plus if it rains a lot it could start to have tire ruts in that space.

Site 41 was perfect. It is a pull thru spot with lake views and just down the hill next it, you can get to a little beach area. Our dog loved being able to swim right there! Also, the site was very large, plenty of space. The only negative, was the bathroom. They did not feel clean. Other than that, we will definitely come back.

Good places to eat near by: Pope Country Cafe. (Thur-Sat) Enid Depot. Best Hunt Brothers Pizza at the Lake store just outside campground. Nice campground and boat launch. Check out a little too early at 2:00. Use to be 4:00. That was much better.
