Good places to eat near by: Pope Country Cafe. (Thur-Sat) Enid Depot. Best Hunt Brothers Pizza at the Lake store just outside campground. Nice campground and boat launch. Check out a little too early at 2:00. Use to be 4:00. That was much better.

We camped at Wallace Creek lake Enid, Ms. we truly enjoyed our stay. Each time we camp here we meet new friends and everyone is always willing to help if you get in one of those unexpected moments in camping. The campground did however lose electricity two times during our stay. The most disappointing part was that not one ranger came around to let us know what was going on. However, camp host Tommy Webster was letting campers know the updates as to when the electricity was expected to be back on in pwoods section. Gratefully we did not lose electricity all night. Thankful for camp host Tommy Webster who seems to truly care about the campers day or night. Other than that our experience was truly enjoyable
