Pros: The hosts of the campground were so fabulous and helpful. The campers were so nice and would lend you anything. The scene is so nice and the area is nice, smaller clean campground.
Cons: outsiders (kids) come into the boat ramp close to the campground and play very loud music along with revving engines and squeeling wheels from about 1am-430am each night. They also come and use the campground bathrooms since the boat ramp ones are closed due to them trashing them and now trash the camground bathrooms and are very loud. We ended up yelling them out the campground and a few minutes later as they drive back to boat ramp area they shot off 5 gun shots, clearly because of us running them off and being fed up with 2 nights of this. We then had to stay up until around 5am sitting outside our tent as they continuously drove through just to make sure they didnt bother our vehicles after we ran them off.. Called cops 2 times and only saw them ride through once a whole hour after we called about the danger of gun shots. Also told the ranger the next morning and he said he knew of thw problem but apparently hasnt gotten a solution as he said its BEEN happening. Sad becaise we would love to go back.

We had lot 16; it was a very nice and peaceful spot facing the lake. The sunsets were very beautiful. The park was very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Great camp ground. Very secluded and private. Roads are good, never very many campers, quiet, full service hook ups. It has some Great Lake views and is right next to a boat ramp. It’s a long drive for us but worth it!

Great cellular service with CSpire. Great location for bathrooms/showers but we used our own, in the camper. Pull-through made for easy parking and full hook ups including sewer. The negative is a lot of small trees blocked the lake view and there was no good access to the water unless you go to the boat ramp.

We have camped there 3 different occasions within the past 9mo. The views of the lake and the space between sites are very nice which has had us come back when we are visiting our family. Cozy like and peaceful the times we came--fall and winter. Rolling hills with a small playground for kiddos. the boat ramp is right outside the campground. The road and housing leading to the campground might disuade one from coming, but the campground really is nice.
