Beautiful little park right on the Tennessee-Tombigbee River. In its day I’m sure it was even better. The park was clean, the hosts friendly, helpful and accommodating but the park is in need of updating and repairs. The trails, which were once lighted and paved are dark and cracked. The long fishing pier is difficult to get to and has warped boards, the Historical Center - a beautiful, very large facility was closed and is starting to look really run down. It is ashamed to have a park at this location in such poor shape.

The water was not accessible as there is a lot of disrepair around the docks and beach. The site was clean and the hook ups were working. The attendant was helpful. Overall the park was nice and we enjoyed our time.
