Trails lead throughout the park. Bathhouse was dated but kept clean. Barges flowed with the river and Air Force jets put on a display, following the river. Sunsets were amazing. There are 3 fishing piers, boat launch, and beach area with shower wash-off.
Walmart is 5 miles away (just off the highway) and we noticed a laundromat on our way to the campground. A half hour drive takes you to Tupelo, where you can tour the birthplace of Elvis Presley. Queen's Reward Meadery was a nice stop while we were in Tupelo. Bring your own firewood, as they do not sell it here. Guy's Place on the Water is a nearby restaurant, good for a sandwich and beer. The local community college gets a little loud with cheering and PA system during games so don't expect peace and quiet and tranquility

Was a nice campground. Can’t say too much about it though as I was just overnighting there on my way to another COE campground. I would however stay there longer if I’m ever in that area again!

Lots are nice and very level. Pavement throughout is is good condition. Many of the lots are too close together but in our case we has good neighbors. enjoyed our stay.
