Online map needs to be updated. I picked our site (#27) for the proximity to a playground. 3 kids (10 y/o and younger) wanted them to have something to do close by. Unfortunately there was no playground. The paper map given to us when we arrived didn’t show the playground. It looks like there use to be one but is just a flat clearing now. The water way and beach area have a lot of trash. Bathrooms were fairly clean. Overall the issues were minor and we had a good time.

We come to visit relatives in nearby Tupelo and stay at this park frequently. In our opinion, it is the best park to stay for several days. You have your choice of water sites, sites in the woods, sites by the beach, and sewer sites. The bathhouses are kept clean. The only thing wrong this time was that the laundry was closed.
