Easy in and out, very clean park, friendly hosts, lots of good shade and it was welcome in August 2024. This was not our first time and will not be our last time to stay at Whitten Park.

Beautiful park and friendly staff. Lots of vegetation around the campsites, however, and we were there at the height of the mosquito season. Literally kept us and our dog inside most of the time. Would love to go back when the mosquitoes are not so aggressive.

Great little campground! We were really happy with the size and layout of our site. Our site had lots of trees and was a really level campsite, with a great living area. I think this campground has a lot of potential but does need a little work. With that being said, I do know renovations are scheduled starting next month. We are excited to come back and see what all has been improved.
Hopefully all of the wood structures are updated or replaced, we would like to see more areas accessible to the lake. From our campsite, we could see the lake but wasn't easily accessible. The paved pathways need the overgrowth cut back and maybe even some re-paving in some areas. The bath houses need the most updating. The stalls are a little small, and the shower's need some updating. But overall, a great place!! Highly recommend! During the renovations, I would recommend Piney Grove Recreation Area just North of here.

Look forward to the bathrooms being updates, but love we were able to just walk over to the restuarant, Guys Place!
