Site 12 backed up to the river. Beautiful sunsets and the sound of barges made for a peaceful stay. Water and electric, with a dump station. Walmart and laundry near by. Lots of trails with huge fishing piers. Boardwalk to visitor center. Very long bike path near the school at entry. 1/2 the campground was closed due to winter season. Would stay again.

Site 12 has a wonderful waterview! We're a 43ft 5th wheel toy hauler. Walked out on the pier to watch the barges. Overall great stay.

We loved this park. We were arriving late and called the park and they gave us great directions. Very nice staff. It was a little tricky backing 40ft in at night but got it done.
If you like nature and a natural setting this is a great park. If you like a manicured campground this is not for you.
Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back soon.
