This is a great park. The sites are spacious, level and easy to back into. It offers swimming, fishing and boating in season. It was late October when we were there. The water level was down. The swim area was closed. The peers are very nice. The leaf color was good. There were lots of paths to follow to see the different areas of the park. We got to the park too late to go to the museum. It's an impressive building. It would have been interesting to read about the history of this body of water.

Very clean park with friendly hosts. Secure with gates closed at ten pm. Sites are level and picknick table and fire pits are provided. Close to Fulton, which has both local and chain restaurants, a several interesting shops. About 20 miles to Tupelo. Very scenic with large trees and walking trails.
