North Abutment campground is consistently praised for its cleanliness, friendly camp hosts, and well-maintained facilities. Many reviewers highlight the spacious campsites, beautiful lake views, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for family camping. While some concerns were raised about maintenance of park roads and pier access, overall experiences are very positive, with campers eager to return.

Very well spaced/ level site #19. Beautiful lake and friendly hosts. Only problem was restrooms/showers were a little outdated and cramped. In the men’s shower there was no where to hang clothes or even sit to change after showering. That said, they provided good shelter during the tornado warning we were able to enjoy. 😎

Beautiful campground
Spacious sites with level pads
There is pretty views from many spots in the campground but our favorite sites are on the water, even in the fall/winter months when the water is down. Absolutely love camping here. Having every site have sewer is a great amenity.
My only complaint is
There are a few rough spots on the road up through sites 27-33 and then after you come across the bridge. Other than that- you cannot beat this campground.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds to spend time at in the spring and fall. The water was still low in the lake but was coming up fast with the spring rains. Grenada has many nice places to eat and shop at and it isn’t too far.
