This campground is the best kept secret. Level cement pads, fhu, large sites and very peaceful. Dan the camp host was terrific.

Great winter weekend camping - slid this trip in right before a snowstorm, and it was great. Really quiet in January - probably only 10-12 sites occupied. Full hookups worked great, pad was concrete and level, and the kids enjoyed the playground til they froze. We got in after dark on Friday, and it was a little tough to tell which route to take - didn’t see much signage outside of the site numbers, but may have just missed it. Would definitely go back - need to check it out in the summer months when the lake is full.

The campground was excellent. The downside was the registration site (recreation.gov) was terrible. It took us just short of an hour to register. The site would indicate our selection was available then at the checkout it said it was not available. We went through the process 5 times with the site saying only one night was available, then both nights, then none of the nights. At last, the app let us register. I talked to another couple that had the same experience on the same evening. The recreation.gov needs some professional help

City of Grenada for approximately three miles then turn left on
Scenic Loop 333. Follow Scenic Loop 333 across the dam and
take the second road to the right at the North end of the Dam.
