North Abutment is one of our favorite campgrounds to go to. We have several "Favorite" sites and keep trying others to make it seem like a new destination. There are 3 walking trails just on other side of dam. Campground very peaceful.

The camp ground was very nice and clean but one problem we had was these bugs kinda like mosquitos but was not mosquitos, they were very bad!

We love the view of the lake. And there are several campsites that provide this fantastic view! Campsites are spaced well enough that you experience a quiet & peaceful stay!

Grenada Lake Campground is great. The sites are big and include electricity, water and sewage. It is on the top of my list. The one negative is the bathhouse at North Abutment. The commodes are not sized for males and the shower is almost useless. It is in disrepair and it is almost impossible to adjust the temperature of the water.

From I-55, take the Grenada exit on highway 8 east through the
City of Grenada for approximately three miles then turn left on
Scenic Loop 333. Follow Scenic Loop 333 across the dam and
take the second road to the right at the North end of the Dam.
