Great spot close to I-65 but far enough away so as not to be bothered by traffic noise. Right on the lake. Lots of wildlife. Very well kept, clean park.

Really great campground - first time there and we look forward to going back. The sites are well maintained, the bathhouse was clean, everything worked well. We were there in the middle of a freezing storm so didn't get to do much but it was a beautiful site.

We were there in January, and there were very few people camping. The park was well kept and there were full hookups at our site. The reservoir was very, very low, but friends of ours explained that it was an overflow reservoir for the Mississippi River in the springtime, so they drain it during the fall/winter months to get ready for the spring floods. We will definitely camp there again on our next trip through Mississippi!
