What an amazing place to unwind. This place is secluded, yet still near any amenities you may need. The Longleaf Trace trail runs right next to the property. The grounds were clean and quiet as a mouse. Tiny houses super clean and well laid out. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed here a week on our vacation and couldn't have found a more relaxing and peaceful place to be. The accomodations were excellent, and the location was perfect for riding our trikes. We were just a few steps away from the Longleaf Trace. The weather was perfect, and the owner stopped by occasionally to see if we needed anything to make our stay more enjoyable. We'll be back.

We traveled through the area for a job that we were working in nearby, Purvis MS. We couldn't have found a more accommodating place to stay than Long Leaf Piney Resort. Mr. McGee was incredibly helpful to our crew and administrative staff in helping accommodate our stay. He was kind, polite and very attentive. We greatly appreciate him and his staff for making our welcome a wonderful stay for the amount of time we were there. Their lodging was picturesque, quiet, peaceful, and a great place to come back home to after long days of work. We will be recommending them to anyone we know, who needs a stay in the area! Thank you kindly!

What a surprise! What a find! On our way back to Florida from a 6 week cross country road trip, my wife and I booked one of the tiny houses on the property, so we could be fairly close to the Long Leaf Trace bike trail. This place exceeded our expectations in every way.
Sean - the owner, was so kind, friendly and easy to communicate with ... simply a really nice guy. His property is located right on the bike trail. What a plus for those who want to ride it. Our stay in the tiny house itself caught us completely by surprise! It was super clean, comfy and tastefully appointed - - and quite simply - fun!
The property itself is very peaceful, quiet and relaxing, making it feel as though we had the woods all to ourselves. If we are ever passing thru Mississippi we would make it a point to stay here again - - even if we had no interest in biking the Long Leaf Trail. With the town of Hattiesburg being only several miles away, there would be no reason to stay anywhere else.

Absolutely Perfect. Actually exceeded all expectations. Located right on The Longleaf Trace, it is quiet comfort and a magnificent retreat after a day of riding. The “tiny houses” are not that tiny and they are filled with character and charm. They are super clean and very well appointed. The bed was heavenly, the towels and sheets luxurious.
The woods are at your doorstep and the ambiance is total chill - complete with hammocks and fire pits. Noise, restaurants, stores, and nightlife are only 8 miles away if you need but, I promise, you’ll hurry back.
This is it folks, the gem in the rough.
