It was so nice I extended my stay and starting my second week. Beautiful area and the employees I've met so far have went above and beyond to check and make sure I'm doing ok. Huge props to Benjamin!!

We love Hernando Point! It’s always so quiet and peaceful. Morning and evening walks are really nice. We always like watching the eagles around this area. The is an eagle nest between campsite 5 & 6.
My only complaint is that the grass needs to be cut.

I had reserved Site 3, but the electrical post had an open fault. I contacted Recreation.gov on the phone and moved to Site 60. Good, shady site.

While there is no actual lake at this time, the campground is in great shape and getting additional improvements to facilities. The location is perfect for exploring the local area.
