Great campground and awesome bath houses. Hikes trails were nice too. Verizon service weak around campsite 16. Secluded and quiet campground. Definitely will return

We had 6 days in the campground and had no issues with the campground. The campground was well maintained even though there were no camp hosts. The sites were well maintained and we had no issues with water or electrical.

Beautiful campground, very clean. You have to pay with your cell phone and there’s no reception on the lower loop to the left. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Beautiful, quiet and clean campground. Friendly people. Clean, heated bathrooms & showers. Men’s restroom at lower loop needed lights replaced. Site 10 was wonderful in our 16.5 foot camper. Level, excellent hookups & dump station. Park roads were good, but some spots in need of repair. Enjoyed walking /exploring the areas with our dogs. We will be back. Thanks!

Nice campsites and great rates. One of my favorite campgrounds. The lower parts of the loops have no cell phone service, as others have mentioned. You can walk to the top of the hill to get cell service, or pick a spot that's further up the hill. Trails are great here, and the area around the small lake is pretty. Some of the roads could be maintained a bit better -- there are several large potholes.

First Come First Served. We arrived early afternoon Friday and some sites available, lucked out #12 was big enough for a 28' trailer and tow vehicle (barely, nose of truck was at very edge of what's considered end of site). Condition of asphalt was fair, some sites where in better shape, some worse. Electric/water good. Restrooms and showers nearby in fair condition. Nice day use area by the lake. Our stay was overnight, would consider staying longer in the future.

Perfect little spot on our way from Vicksburg to New Orleans! Would definitely come back. Water, showers, toilets, dump station, but it still felt like true solitude.
